SADDAM OFRECIO EXILIARSE PARA EVITAR GUERRA

Trascripción: Saddam ofreció exiliarse para evitar guerra

Un documento recientemente filtrado cuya fecha de emisión es de un mes antes de la invasión de Estados Unidos a Irak, demuestra que el Presidente Bush estaba al tanto de que Saddam Hussein había ofrecido exiliarse si se le permitía llevarse mil millones de dólares e información sobre armas de destrucción masiva. La revelación forma parte del registro de una reunión entre el Presidente Bush y el entonces Presidente español José María Aznar en febrero de 2003. El analista de Medio Oriente Juan Cole especula que Saddam probablemente quería llevarse información que demostraba que los presidentes Ronald Reagan y George H.W. Bush habían ayudado a financiar y apoyar su programa de armas. El poseer dicha información, según Cole, hubiera protegido a Saddam de una futura venganza por temor a avergonzar a la Casa Blanca. La trascripción también demuestra que el Presidente Bush esperaba que el Consejo de Seguridad de las Naciones Unidas le diera su apoyo a la guerra, en parte debido a que “nos ahorraría cincuenta mil millones de dólares”. La cifra de cincuenta mil millones fue el cálculo inicial de lo que costaría la invasión. Bush también dejó en claro que esperaba que las fuerzas estadounidenses invadieran Irak un mes después de la conversación sin perjuicio de la aprobación de la ONU. Bush y Aznar se reunieron el 22 de febrero, y la invasión estadounidense comenzó el 19 de marzo. También se informó que Bush señaló que los europeos se oponen a la invasión porque son indiferentes a las atrocidades de Saddam. Bush dijo: “Quizá es porque es de piel oscura, está lejos y es musulmán, muchos europeos piensan que está bien”. El portavoz de la Casa Blanca Gordon Johndroe se negó a realizar comentarios sobre la trascripción.

Ella plantea que "algunas de las más tristemente célebres violaciones a los derechos humanos de los últimos treinta y cinco años, que han tendido a ser vistas sólo como actos sádicos cometidos por regímenes antidemocráticos, fueron de hecho cometidas con la intención deliberada de aterrorizar a la población o de aprovechar la situación para preparar el terreno para la introducción de reformas radicales en pos del libre comercio".

La oligarquía salvaje venezolana quiere que el líder de la revolución bolivariana no sea reelecto. Cuando, la oligarquía miserable venezolana mandaba en la patria de Simón Bolívar, había las elecciones electorales donde se elegía a diferentes títeres, pero, el sistema corrupto quedaba, donde se tenia que la misma camarilla y el imperio eran los que usufructuaban del poder, para después proseguir con el saqueo y robos.
